We are seeking a Warehouse Dock and Delivery Team Member who will embody the heart and soul of our mission of creating memories worth repeating while bringing families closer together and caring deeply about our brand. The right Warehouse Dock and Delivery Team Member checklist will include equal parts curious learner, innovator, administrator, detail driver, mentor, and motivator.
The Warehouse Dock and Delivery Team Member maintains appropriate receiving for inbound freight, loads and delivers stock and packages to merchandise shops, games facilities and other divisions in accordance with safety guidelines and Dollywood procedures. This host will also provide operational support and facility upkeep while providing excellent customer service to guests.
Additionally, the ideal candidate will be able to display and live out Lead with Love qualities, strongly rooted in the Dollywood Company culture, by being patient, kind, trusting, unselfish, truthful, forgiving, dedicated and accountable
Summary of Essential Functions and Responsibilities
- Pick up and deliver in an organized manner on a daily basis to all Dollywood properties and other locations as needed, communicating shortages to warehouse leadership as appropriate
- Support the daily operation of the Dollywood Warehouse including, but not limited to, receiving and processing inbound freight, auditing, loading and delivering within all Dollywood properties, packing and preparing outbound shipments, scheduling inbound and outbound shipments
- Must be able to safely operate heavy equipment such as forklifts, pickers, etc. in addition to various sizes of delivery trucks; appropriate training will be provided
- Maintain a high degree of attention to detail and concentration to sustain an ordinary routine with minimal supervision
- Operate vehicles and equipment in an efficient manner and follow all policy and procedures of the Dollywood Company
- Represent the Dollywood Company in a friendly and professional manner to guests, vendors, suppliers and fellow Hosts
- Support all teammates with words, behavior and actions that are in alignment to attain locations budgeted profit and maintain a positive work environment
- Follow all Merchandise Operational Policies and Procedures effectively and adhere to all Merchandise Safety Guidelines. Report any safety issues to their immediate supervisor immediately
- Host will ensure they are up to date on all company and divisional communications through communication boards and binders
- Protect the privacy and security of our guests and coworkers, including PCI compliance

Education and Experience Required
- Minimum of 18 years of age
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Previous warehouse work preferred
- Computer experience operating Microsoft Office Programs, inventory systems preferred
- Must have a valid driver’s license with proof of auto liability insurance
- Must successfully complete a pre-employment background check including motor vehicle
- Driver's license and acceptable driving record required

- Able to lift up to 50 lbs with assistance
Physical and Cognitive Requirements
- Lifting and Carrying: Position may require occasional to frequent lifting of up to 50 lbs. utilizing company’s safety guidelines for safe lifting
- Mobility: Position may require intermittent to prolonged sitting, standing and/or walking for duration of shift, up to 13 hours. Employees may also be required to travel to various areas on property which may include changes in terrain, stairs and uneven surfaces
- Repetitive Movements: This position may require performing repetitive movements and tasks throughout the shift, including repeated use of hands, arms or other body parts as part of typical job functions
- Environmental Conditions: This position requires the ability to perform work tasks in varying weather conditions to include extreme cold and heat. Employees may be required to work indoors and outdoors
- Cognitive and Sensory Requirements: This position requires strong cognitive skills, including the ability to think critically, solve problems, process and retain information, have attention to detail and communicate effectively using approved methods
