Warehouse & Distribution Assistant
Elite Pool Services, IncElite Pool Services is seeking a dependable, hardworking, and organized Warehouse & Distribution Assistant to assist with daily warehouse operations, inventory, distribution, and company fleet needs. The Warehouse & Distribution Assistant will be responsible for completing assigned warehouse and distribution duties, maintaining accurate records, and assisting with the daily inspection and routine maintenance needs of company work trucks and vans. Starting Pay: Compensation will be based on experience and qualifications. Schedule Monday–Friday Start Time: 10:00 AM Workday continues until assigned responsibilities for the day are completed Occasional schedule flexibility may be required based on workload and business needs Warehouse & Distribution Responsibilities Assist with daily warehouse operations Receive, inspect, organize, and properly store incoming materials and equipment Pull and stage materials and equipment needed for jobs Prepare orders and materials for distribution Load and unload deliveries Maintain accurate inventory and monitor stock levels Enter and maintain inventory information using company computer systems Assist with routine inventory counts Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and safe Ensure materials, tools, and equipment are properly accounted for Assist with incoming and outgoing materials Report inventory shortages and supply needs Transport or deliver materials and equipment when necessary Maintain accurate electronic records and documentation Help prepare materials and equipment needed for upcoming jobs Fleet & Vehicle Responsibilities Perform daily inspections of company work trucks and vans Identify and report safety or maintenance concerns Check fluid levels, tires, lights, batteries, and other routine maintenance items Assist with and handle routine vehicle maintenance as needed Help coordinate outside service when necessary Track oil changes, tire rotations, scheduled services, and preventative maintenance Maintain accurate computerized records of vehicle inspections, maintenance, and services Help ensure company vehicles remain safe, clean, reliable, and ready for daily operation Immediately report vehicle concerns that could affect safety or operations Requirements Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Basic computer knowledge is required Must be comfortable using computers for data entry, email, inventory tracking, and electronic recordkeeping Warehouse, distribution, logistics, or inventory experience is preferred Must be comfortable performing daily vehicle inspections and handling routine vehicle maintenance needs Forklift experience is a plus but is not required Must be able to safely lift and move up to 100 lbs. Must be able to perform physically demanding work, including lifting, carrying, loading, unloading, bending, standing, and moving materials and equipment Strong organizational and time-management skills Ability to follow instructions and prioritize assigned responsibilities Ability to work independently and stay productive without constant supervision Reliable attendance and punctuality are required Ideal Candidate We are looking for someone who is dependable, hardworking, organized, hands-on, comfortable using computers, and willing to take responsibility for their assigned duties. The right person will be comfortable working in a warehouse environment, maintaining inventory and records, pulling and staging materials, loading and unloading deliveries, inspecting company vehicles, and assisting with routine vehicle maintenance. This position plays an important role in keeping our field crews supplied and company vehicles ready for daily operations.
