nerally 75 mile radius). There are NO Overnights. This associate will also support the Warehouse - unloading, putting away, and picking freight when not delivering. Forklift experience or certification is a plus. We expect the ideal candidate to have a clean commercial driver's license, a good driving record, and have experience in trucking. The remaining time will be delivering roughly half of their time making deliveries and ot / Warehouse Associate to operate commercial vehicles for transporting goods safely and efficiently within central PA. This role involves ensuring timely deliveries, maintaining vehicle safety, and adhering to all transportation regulations.
Responsibilities:
• Safely operate and maintain commercial trucks in accordance with company policies and federal regulations.
• Transport freight over local routes, ensuring timely deliveries.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to identify any mechanical issues.
• Maintain accurate records of mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery documentation.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, and team members regarding delivery schedules and issues.
• Follow safety protocols at all times to prevent accidents or violations.
• Assist with loading and unloading cargo as needed.
Qualifications:
• Valid CDL A license with clean driving record.
• Proven experience as a commercial truck driver preferred.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and safety standards.
• Experience working in a warehouse.
• Experience operating forklift preferred.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and handle physical demands of the job.
• Good communication skills.
