Warehouse / Delivery Driver (Box Truck – Non-CDL)

We are seeking a non-CDL, reliable, and detail-oriented Warehouse Delivery Driver to handle local deliveries using a company box truck. The candidate will manage the full delivery process—from gathering orders, preparing paperwork and loading the truck to completing customer deliveries and obtaining signed packing slips. This role offers a consistent Monday–Friday day schedule and combines warehouse responsibilities with driving. Key Responsibilities Prepare and organize daily delivery paperwork, including packing slips, and route documentation Moving finished product from production lines to the warehouse for delivery Safely load and secure products onto the box truck according to the daily delivery schedule and load plan Drive a company box truck (nonCDL) on assigned local routes, following safe driving practices and company procedures Deliver products to customers in a timely and friendly manner Obtain customer signatures on packing slips and verify order accuracy upon delivery Handle basic customer interactions and address minor delivery issues as needed Unload returned items and organize paperwork for expedient order entry Maintain driving logs for the delivery truck Perform pre and posttrip vehicle inspections and report any mechanical issues Keep the truck clean, organized, and in good condition Assist with warehouse tasks as needed when not on the road (e.g., staging orders, moving ready work to the lines and completed work from the lines) Requirements Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record Ability to obtain and maintain a valid DOT medical card (ESP will pay cost of obtaining this medical certificate) Prior experience driving a box truck or similar nonCDL commercial vehicle Experience in warehouse, delivery, or logistics roles preferred Ability to read and follow delivery routes, packing lists, and basic paperwork Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently Friendly communication skills for customer interactions Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs regularly and perform physical tasks throughout the day Comfortable working in varied weather conditions Basic knowledge of safe loading and securing techniques Working Conditions Combination of warehouse environment and driving a nonCDL commercial box truck Regular exposure to outdoor conditions while making deliveries Physical demands include standing, walking, lifting, bending, and climbing in/out of the truck Consistent MondayFriday day shift schedule (7:00 AM 3:30 PM) Preferred Qualifications Previous experience with route deliveries or customerfacing logistics roles Current DOT medical card Knowledge of local delivery areas Experience using a computer to generate required paperwork East Side Plating offers a competitive wage with opportunities for increases in 6 months, medical, dental, and vision coverage, as well as PTO, paid holidays and a 401K plan.
