Warehouse/Delivery Driver

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Warehouse/Driver to join our team. This multifaceted role involves both warehouse duties and driving responsibilities, ensuring timely delivery of goods while maintaining excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will be comfortable with heavy lifting, route driving, and operating various types of vehicles, including vans and forklifts. Duties Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport goods to designated locations. Load and unload products from the vehicle, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage. Maintain accurate records of deliveries and pickups, including customer signatures and documentation. Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, addressing any inquiries or concerns professionally. Assist in warehouse operations using computer to perform inventory management including shipping and receiving. Organizing stock, and maintaining a clean work environment. Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safety compliance. Collaborate with team members to optimize delivery routes and improve efficiency. Use and be familiar using ERP software for warehouse functions including shipping and receiving. Experience Previous experience in a warehouse shipping and/or receiving and/or delivery driver role is preferred. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients. Experience with route driving and knowledge of local roadways is beneficial. Familiarity with moving and heavy lifting techniques to handle various products safely. Experience operating forklifts or similar equipment is a plus; certification may be required. A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is essential for this position.
