WAGE SUMMARY: $20.00 - $24.00/hourly


JOB SUMMARY: 

This position is responsible for driving to pick up and deliver food and donations to Catholic Charities locations. Responsibilities also include maintaining warehouse inventory.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

    1. Responsible for seeing that donations are picked up in a timely manner and a receipt is given to every donor.
    2. Ability to safely push, pull, and maneuver rolling bins and other equipment weighing up to 400 pounds.
    3. Accurately label all containers and boxes, including content, quality and date received.
    4. Responsible for cleanliness and general maintenance of warehouse and loading dock area.
    5. Responsible for monitoring and requesting in writing all maintenance and repairs for the agency vehicle.
    6. Responsible for monitoring and requesting, in writing, all maintenance and repair information, as well as keeping copies of work done and regular maintenance required for agency vehicles.
    7. Maintain organization of supplies according to warehouse storage plan.
    8. Document any and all weights and measures for information needed for reports and communications.
    9. Responsible for establishing that all in-kind donations, including commodities, are stored properly in the warehouse daily.
    10. Responsible for assisting with the maintenance needs that are required with the continued proper use of the warehouse and its relative equipment.
    11. Other duties as assigned.

 

QUALIFICATIONS/TECHNICAL EXPERTISE:

  • High School Diploma or GED. 
  • Above average customer service skills required. 
  • Experience operating forklifts and other warehouse equipment.
  • Basic computer skills and ability to read and write required. 
  • Valid driver’s license with good driving record and proof of insurance required.
  • Must be able to pass a non-DOT pre-placement physical.
  • Ability to work with diverse and/or low-income populations, including those who may be experiencing homelessness, unstable housing, and/or mental illness required.
