Job Purpose The Warehouse & Delivery Coordinator is responsible for the daily warehouse operations and regional food distribution activities at the food bank’s satellite facility located in Elko, NV. This role ensures that food is received, stored, organized, and distributed efficiently to partner agencies and community programs throughout the region. Working under the direction of the Rural Food Hub Manager, the Warehouse & Delivery Coordinator manages warehouse inventory, prepares partner orders, coordinates delivery schedules, assists with volunteer activities and operates a Class B refrigerated box truck to deliver food and pick up donations from local partners. This position plays a critical role in maintaining reliable food distribution across a large geographic region and ensuring that partner organizations receive food safely, accurately, and on schedule. Ability to safely operate a box truck with lift gate. Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain certification). Strong organizational and time management skills. Ability to work independently and manage daily operational tasks. Basic computer skills and ability to perform data entry. Strong customer service and communication skills. Preferred Experience working in a food bank, nonprofit distribution, or food logistics environment. Experience using inventory or ERP systems. Experience coordinating delivery routes. Essential Duties include but are not limited to: Warehouse Operations 50 percent of time spent on warehouse/ facility activities. Manage daily warehouse activities including receiving, storage, inventory management, and order fulfillment. Coordinate food receiving, storage, inventory management, and distribution activities. Coordinate with the main facility regarding incoming food shipments, distribution schedules, and supply needs.
