Responsibilities Operate overhead cranes to safely load, unload, and distribute heavy steel products throughout the facility. Optimize warehouse space utilization by strategically organizing storage areas based on current production and shipping demands. Prepare materials for outbound shipment by verifying product locations and coordinating staging area movements. Maintain high levels of inventory accuracy by performing regular counts and reconciling logs against system reports. Ensure all distribution activities are documented accurately through detailed reporting and record-keeping. Uphold rigorous safety standards to foster a secure and efficient work environment for the entire team. Qualifications Required Skills Proven experience operating overhead cranes in a heavy industrial or warehouse setting. Strong background in inventory control and warehouse organization practices. Demonstrated ability to maintain accurate documentation and detailed logs. Excellent time management and planning skills to meet distribution deadlines. Preferred Skills Experience with kinetic or oxy-fuel cutting equipment. Proficiency in using inventory management software or digital tracking systems.
