Job description POSITION DESCRIPTION: Warehouse Coordinator- Forklift Operator Position Title: Warehouse Coordinator Classification: Hourly, Non-Exempt Department: Reports to: Production Manager Position Summary: Ensuring that shipping and receiving standards are met. Provides oversight of warehouse operations to ensure safety, quality and efficiencies are maintained. Essential Functions and Responsibilities: · Provides complete oversight of shipping, receiving and warehouse function · Maintains daily records and filing systems · Provides direct support to production team · Maintains On-time Shipments · Basic computer knowledge · Maintains a clean work environment · Maintains organized Warehouse. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: · Self Driven · Ability to multitask · Computer skills related to shipping and receiving · Good Communication Skills · Basic math skills · High School Diploma or equivalent · Ability to learn how to use Excel and Word · Timely and predictable attendance is a requirement · Scheduling must remain flexible to support the needs of the Production Team · The work environment consists of physical conditions typical of a manufacturing environment: The job requires long periods of standing with regular walking and the occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling of various objects up to 30lbs · Employee is responsible for using and maintaining required and supplied PPE in order to perform duties. · Ability to work independently without constant supervision Additional Skill Set (helpful but not required): o Mechanical Aptitude o Establishing and maintain inventory levels Job Type: Full-time Salary: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour Schedule: 4x10 Ability to commute/relocate: Easley, SC 29640: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required) Experience: Manufacturing: 5 year (Required) Shift availability: Day Shift (Required) Work Location: One location Job Type: Full-time Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour Benefits: Health insurance Paid time off Experience: Warehouse: 5 years (Required) Work Location: In person
