Warehouse Coordinator – MEP

Job Summary We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Warehouse Coordinator – MEP to join our dynamic logistics team. In this role, you will oversee daily warehouse operations related to Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) materials, ensuring efficient inventory management, safe handling, and timely order fulfillment. Your expertise in warehouse distribution and heavy equipment operation will be essential to maintaining a smooth workflow, supporting safety protocols, and optimizing material handling processes. Responsibilities Coordinate the receipt, storage, and dispatch of MEP materials using warehouse management systems and inventory control software. Operate heavy equipment such as reach trucks, forklifts, cherry pickers, cranes, and pallet jacks to load, unload, and move materials safely and efficiently. Conduct regular inventory checks and cycle counts to ensure stock accuracy; utilize RF scanners for order picking, packing, shipping, and receiving activities. Manage stock levels by monitoring inventory movement and implementing effective stocking strategies; ensure proper labeling and documentation of all materials. Enforce safety regulations by using personal protective equipment (PPE), adhering to OSHA standards, and following safety protocol procedures during all warehouse activities. Oversee order fulfillment processes including picking & packing orders accurately for delivery or project sites while maintaining quality standards. Supervise warehouse operations related to materials handling, manual lifting, packaging, loading/unloading shipments, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations at all times. Skills Proven experience in warehouse management or warehouse supervisor roles within logistics or construction environments. Strong knowledge of warehouse operations including inventory management systems such as AS400 or similar platforms. Skilled in operating material handling equipment such as reach trucks, forklifts, cherry pickers, cranes, RF scanners, pallet jacks, and order pickers. Excellent understanding of safety regulations including OSHA standards; committed to maintaining a safe work environment through proper PPE use and safety protocol adherence. Ability to perform basic math calculations for inventory counts and order processing with accuracy. Effective communication skills for coordinating with team members and managing multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting. Technical proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory management software; quick learner of new technology tools related to logistics.
