Warehouse Coordinator M-F, 2p- 10:30p with weekend availability

Job Summary: The Warehouse Coordinator is responsible for managing the flow of raw materials and finished goods between the warehouse and bakery, including driving a box truck to transport goods, oversee shipping and receiving operations, and maintaining accurate inventory records. Key Responsibilities: - Drive a box truck to transport raw materials and finished goods between the warehouse and bakery facilities - Coordinate and process incoming shipments (receiving) and outgoing deliveries (shipping) as needed - Maintain accurate, up-to-date inventory records and stock counts - Inspect incoming and outgoing goods for quality and accuracy - Organize and maintain warehouse storage to ensure efficient space use - Report inventory discrepancies or supply shortages to management - Follow safety protocols when handling and transporting goods Qualifications: - Prior warehouse, logistics, or inventory experience preferred - Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience driving a box truck - Ability to safely operate material handling equipment (forklift, pallet jack, etc.) - Strong organizational and time-management skills - Ability to lift up to 50lbs and move goods as needed, - Basic computer skills for inventory tracking systems About Us: Sweetmore Bakeries, headquartered in Chicago, is a growing family of specialty bakeries employing nearly 500 professionals across five locations nationwide.
