About the Position An established global logistics company specializing in freight forwarding, warehousing, and distribution is seeking an organized, customer-focused Warehouse Coordinator / Expeditor . This role connects warehouse operations with customers, carriers, and internal teams. The ideal candidate communicates professionally, manages competing priorities, and takes ownership of requests from start to completion. This position is based inside an active, non-climate-controlled warehouse. Applicants must be comfortable working in seasonal heat and cold for at least eight hours per day. Responsibilities Coordinate warehouse requests and expediting activities, ensuring accurate and timely completion. Process returns, update records, and coordinate documentation and next steps. Document and follow up on overages, shortages, and damages (OSD). Monitor email inboxes, prioritize requests, and respond professionally. Prepare, print, distribute, and maintain warehouse and shipping documents. Communicate with customers, carriers, warehouse personnel, and internal departments. Track outstanding tasks and follow through until resolved. Report discrepancies, delays, and operational concerns to the appropriate personnel. Maintain accurate records and adjust priorities as operational needs change. Follow company procedures, customer requirements, and warehouse safety guidelines. Qualifications Previous experience as a warehouse coordinator, logistics coordinator, expeditor, or shipping and receiving associate preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook , including inbox management and professional email communication. Strong customer service skills and the ability to handle urgent requests professionally. Excellent organization, attention to detail, and time management. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to multitask while maintaining accuracy. Ability to work independently, collaborate across teams, and recognize when additional support is needed. Dependable follow-through and accountability for assigned tasks. Work Environment On-site work in a non-climate-controlled warehouse. Regular movement between administrative duties and warehouse operations. Ability to remain focused and productive in a busy warehouse environment. Compliance with all safety procedures and required personal protective equipment (PPE).
