                                                                                   Warehouse Coordinator  

Job Summary: We are seeking a dependable and motivated Warehouse Coordinator to support our warehouse and delivery operations. This role involves receiving shipments, organizing inventory, assisting with deliveries, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment. The ideal candidate is hands-on, safety-conscious, works independently and works well as part of a team.  Although this is a warehouse position, the candidate will at times help out with other positions.   Hours:  30 – 40+ hours per week.  As a seasonal business, we are primarily busiest April – September.  It would be during these months 40 hours per week and overtime hours would apply  


Job Objective:  As the Warehouse Coordinator, the primary goal is to oversee the accuracy and efficiency of all warehouse operations, ensuring seamless inventory management and the orderly flow of goods in and out of the warehouse.  


Key Responsibilities (Include but are not limited to):

  • Coordinate all work activities relating to processing freight (in & outbound).
  • Receive goods and check freight for correct quantity, quality and possible damages.
  • Picking, checking and loading product for outgoing deliveries.
  • Loading and unloading of trucks by use of forklift and/or pallet jack.
  • Keep warehouses organized, clean and free from safety hazards.
  • Organize/Monitor inventory levels in both warehouses
  • Notify office when inventory is running low.
  • Keeping all fire lanes clear of shipping materials
  • Bring up/down curbside products daily. 
  • Maintain grounds as needed.  Lower parking lot, including dumpster area and pallet removal.  Spring and Fall clean- up.
  • Keep all pallets neatly organized behind the gate. 
  • Winter duties would include floor reconditioning, snow removal, plowing, shoveling, sanding, and keeping all store entrances safe and free of ice hazards.
  • Pick-up/deliver parts/supplies when needed.
  • Keep up with vehicle/forklift service and inspections.
  • Keep propane cylinders full.  Refill when necessary.
  • Help with set-up/take down of any pool/spa promotions.


Requirements:

  • Ability to frequently lift heavy items (minimum 50lbs) and perform physical work.
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Forklift experience/certification a plus (or willingness to train)
  • Strong attention to safety and organization
  • Ability to work independently
  • Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented


Required Certifications:  Certified in safe operation of a fork-lift.

Compensation: 

  • $20.00 - $22.00
