POSITION DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

The Warehouse Coordinator plays a vital role in ensuring the efficient and accurate flow of goods in and out of our facility. In this position, the Warehouse Coordinator coordinates shipping operations, manages inventory, and collaborates with various departments to maintain seamless logistics processes. 

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate daily shipping and receiving operations to ensure timely and accurate processing.
  • Monitor inventory levels and manage stock replenishment to maintain optimal supply.
  • Prepare and process shipping documents, including bills of lading, packing lists, and invoices.
  • Schedule and oversee deliveries, ensuring efficient routing and timely distribution of goods.
  • Collaborate with carriers and logistics partners to negotiate rates and resolve shipping issues.
  • Conduct regular audits of warehouse inventory to verify accuracy and identify discrepancies.
  • Implement and maintain safety protocols and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain accurate records of all shipping and inventory transactions.
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless order fulfillment and customer satisfaction.
  • Utilize warehouse management systems to track and manage inventory and shipments.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve warehouse operations and reduce costs.
  • Handle customer inquiries and complaints related to shipping and delivery issues.
  • Ensure proper labeling and packaging of products for shipment.
  • Monitor and report on performance metrics related to warehouse and shipping activities.
  • All other duties as assigned. 

Knowledge & Skills

  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
  • Forklift certification preferred.
  • Knowledge of shipping and receiving procedures.
  • Familiarity with safety regulations and compliance.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy.
  • Flexible to work overtime or irregular hours as needed.
  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously

Education And Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree or higher preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in warehouse operations or logistics
  • Proficient in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Proficiency in an ERP system

Physical Job Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit. The employee frequently is required to walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus.

May need a high level of concentration in a busy area.

Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. 

Working Conditions

Monday through Friday, including travel for events if needed
