Warehouse Cold Storage Lead

Job Overview The Warehouse Cold Storage Lead coordinates daily warehouse operations in temperature-controlled environments ranging from 38°F to -6°F. This hands-on role supports safe, accurate product movement and helps keep receiving, storage, and shipping activities running smoothly. Responsibilities Lead, assign, and coordinate daily activities for warehouse employees. Oversee receiving, put-away, order picking, staging, loading, and shipping. Maintain accurate inventory counts and location control; follow FIFO/FEFO procedures as applicable. Ensure products are handled properly to support food safety and quality standards. Your impact: Accurate product rotation and careful handling help protect product quality and support reliable orders for customers. Assist with cycle counts, inventory investigations, shipping paperwork, and warehouse reports Communicate staffing needs, operational issues, inventory shortages, and shipping priorities to management. Train and coach warehouse employees on proper procedures, productivity, safety, and work performance. Help shipping, receiving, and inventory goals. Assist with employee performance concerns and document issues according to company policy. Qualifications Ability to work in temperatures ranging from 38°F to -6°F. Ability to operate stand-up, sit-down, and push-pull forklifts. Knowledge of RF scanners and ERP system Communicate with customer service.
