ConfidentialDescription: Summary: Performs assigned shipping & receiving responsibilities in a safe and efficient manner by performing the following duties. Duties and Responsibilities: Include but are not limited to the following: Wears PPE in accordance with company policy. Checks incoming material for quality and quantity against packing slips or other documents Stocks warehouse and records inventory control documents Reports adjustments to inventory as needed. Keep an updated record of goods received, shipped, and loaded onto CW trailer Issues, stages, and enters into system raw materials for all shifts. Places received raw materials directly into inventory, prints and attach labels Input and retrieve inventory information using Syteline ERP System Confirms product weights, incoming and outgoing Demonstrate continuous effort to improve our operation, decrease turnaround times, streamline work processes, and work cooperatively and jointly to provide quality seamless customer service. Perform a weekly/daily check list on all fork trucks in the plant Be able to palletize properly in a safe and secure manner so as to prevent damage to the goods or accident that might endanger personnel in accordance with Work Instructions. Be capable of accurately pulling goods from inventory and preparing them for shipment. This may mean pulling multiple shipments simultaneously in an organized manner so that each shipments integrity is maintained. Handle loading and unloading of trucks using either a fork truck or pallet jack in a safe and quality conscious manner. Carry out any reasonable request made by direct supervisor or management team. Serves as a final inspector of all finished product before shipping, verifying style, weight, packaging, labels, photos taken etc. Loads looms, pulling raw materials from inventory and ensuring that all pertinent data is entered correctly using Syteline ERP System. Collect and stages products to be returned to vendors, i.e.; bobbin trays, empty bobbins, pallets, and beams. Personally responsible for chocking trailers and keeping drivers in view while unloading or unloading. Requirements: Ability to: Certified to operate a fork truck in a safe manner throughout the plant, maintain a Textum fork Lift License. Work with other employees in a team environment Lift arm above shoulder level to stock and readjust shelves.
