Warehouse Clerk/Shipping & Receiving

New Source Corporation is a Defense Contractor, supplying Raw Materials & Metals for the Aerospace & Commercial Aviation industries. We are a growing Woman-Owned Small Business, which is celebrating our 34th year Anniversary in business this year. The duties for this job posting will include: shipping stock orders, receiving incoming shipments, forklift operation, Inventory management / control, maintaining picking lists, packaging orders to robust standards, order scheduling, maintaining an organized warehouse, and other clerical duties. As this is a warehouse/shipping position, personnel will be asked to move material daily and will be on their feet for most of the day and should be comfortable lifting about 50 lbs. Due to our rigid Quality requirements in the Aerospace field, attention to detail is of the utmost importance, as is maintaining accurate records at all times. Collaboration and working as a team is also paramount, as this will fulfill and complete a 13-person shipping & receiving team for our Orlando warehouse. We are looking to hire 1 new personnel for this position to begin immediately. There is a potential opening for our early shift in the receiving department for 6:00am -3:00pm or our normal operating hours from 8:00am -5:00pm. There is no set requirement on minimum work experience; however, a general grasp of warehouse work flow and professionalism will be beneficial. Previous work experiences will, of course, also be taken into consideration. As this position utilizes our Inventory & Accounting system for each of the previously mentioned duties, basic computer understanding and typing skills are also a requirement. This includes, but is not limited to, Outlook, Microsoft Office, Google Docs, Spreadsheets, and other basic computer programs. This new position is due to our continued growth over the last several years.
