ALLOY SURFACESDescription: JOB SUMMARY The Warehouse Clerk I for Alloy Surfaces Company (ASC) is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records and supporting inventory control activities for all inventory items purchased and produced. This position supports compliance with established internal control procedures and supports the efficient flow, storage, and control of materials throughout the facility. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Support the inventory cycle counting process Label, locate, and stock material following receiving inspection and established procedures Perform data entry for general warehousing activities, including stocking, cycle counting, work-in-progress, and production kit collection Maintain supporting documentation and records for all data entry activities Communicate with internal customers to resolve material, order, inventory, or system issues when needed Work closely with Planning, Quality Assurance, and Production to resolve material and inventory-related issues Identify and escalate inventory discrepancies, material shortages, and other issues that may impact production or inventory accuracy Special projects and other duties as assigned OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures, including but not limited to the Code of Conduct, U.S. Code of Ethics and Business Conduct, and the Chemring Operational Framework Ensure the Group ethos of all employees going home safely at the end of their working day is adhered to Promote a high standard of ethical behavior and adherence to the Group’s core values, and promote a culture of honesty and integrity across ASC Comply with government and corporate laws, rules, regulations, policies, and procedures Special projects and additional duties as assigned SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY N/A Requirements: EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION High School Diploma or equivalent EXPERIENCE One year of experience in the warehousing and inventory control areas for a product manufacturing company ADDITIONAL SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS Must be eligible to obtain and/or maintain a U.S. Government Security Clearance commensurate with the level of facility clearance Good interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization Working knowledge of inventory control, warehouse operations, material flow, and ERP/MRP systems Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, ERP, and inventory/warehouse management software Knowledge and experience of MS D365 is a plus PHYSICAL AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS Lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, or otherwise moving objects, exert up to 50 lbs. of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 lbs. of force frequently, and/or up to 10 lbs. of force constantly to move objects. Must be able to climb ladders and work from high lifts. Use of computer. Involves standing and walking most of the time, may involve sitting for brief periods.
