ARCHSummary: Handle and account for receiving of goods, maintaining of stock, processing and shipping of orders. Responsibilities of essential functions include: Ability to work in a fast paced environment and deal with changes, delays or unexpected events Pick products according to established procedures Package and ship products via UPS, FedEx, DHL, USPS or other carrier to established procedures Label and store products in warehouse to established procedures Maintain inventory of packaging materials and initiate Material Request Router to reorder as needed Custom label and package products according to customer specification Responsibilities of non-essential functions include: Keep warehouse and shipping area clean and organized Receive, unpack, and verify count of products Inspect products and labeling as needed Perform physical inventory as scheduled Pack and coordinate shipments of trade show supplies Maintain commitment to Quality Goals and Quality Policy Complete jobs and tasks as assigned Competencies: Great attention to detail Strong ability to read and understand paperwork Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Education and/or Experience: Associate's degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Language Skills: Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization. Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs. Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
