Coordinate the receiving and inspection of all deliveries based on the current operational needs of the department.
Immediately communicate any shortages to the Executive Chef and/or General Manager to proactively anticipate client needs.
Ensure that any product substitutions are communicated to the service team, Executive Chef, and/or General Manager.
Ensure compliance with all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) related to receiving goods, including First In, First Out (FIFO) and First Expired, First Out (FEFO) inventory rotation practices.
Ensure that receiving logs are completed in accordance with requirements, including recording product temperatures as outlined in HSQA policies and procedures.
Comply with all HSQA, HACCP, and WHMIS protocols at all times.
Ensure that required monthly safety audits and compliance inspections are completed and submitted as requested by the Executive Chef.
Ensure that all food products received meet rigorous quality standards, including compliance with temperature requirements for temperature-controlled products.
Receive deliveries and verify that all goods are received in good condition before signing the invoice, and ensure that products are promptly stored upon receipt.
Coordinate equipment repairs and additional staffing requirements within the established budget, obtaining the necessary approvals before requesting any service intervention.
Ensure that any expired, damaged, or diverted product is addressed immediately and removed from the premises within 24 hours.
Collect completed food delivery logs and temperature records, and ensure that all documentation is filed in accordance with HSQA standards.
Compile and submit the weekly inventory to the Food Services Director (FSD) and/or General Manager (GM).
Implement food waste reduction practices, including checking waste bins after each meal service to identify any unusual excess or food waste.
Ensure the daily cleanliness and organization of the work area, including refrigerators, freezers, service carts, walk-in coolers, preparation tables, and storage areas.
Complete daily operational reports and submit them to the Executive Chef, Food Services Director (FSD), and/or General Manager (GM).
Store products in accordance with food safety requirements and inventory rotation protocols.
Conduct temperature checks to ensure product safety and compliance with food safety requirements.
Complete assigned tasks within established timelines and work effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Work efficiently to ensure that essential duties are completed and to prevent food spoilage.
Demonstrate strong attention to detail and respond promptly to issues, including managing multiple tasks simultaneously and ensuring that all deliveries are addressed upon arrival.
Interact with managers, supervisors, and other employees in a positive, respectful, and professional manner at all times.
Follow management direction as required.

The hourly wage for this position is $20.00. Final compensation will be determined based on skills, experience, qualifications, and internal equity.
