Warehouse Clerk

We are currently seeking a Warehouse Clerk to join our team focused on delivering superior quality products to our customers. In this role, you will support the movement of material into and out of the warehouse to fulfill customer demand. You will receive incoming materials to maintain accurate inventory and keep materials available as needed. This includes verifying condition and accuracy of shipment, checking costs of overseas stock, updating paperwork, entering data, delivering material to QA or warehouse, notifying appropriate person of receipt. In addition, your responsibilities include: Help employees locate parts; issue parts to and receive parts from internal departments and record transactions in data base to control movement of inventory and maintain accuracy. Place orders for assigned parts and services to meet production schedules, maintain desired inventory levels, and meet or reduce budgeted costs. Process RMA receiving to track flow of product and meet repair turn-around targets. Dispose of scrap material and record transactions to make space in the warehouse for good inventory. Maintain organization, cleanliness, and safety of warehouse to provide an efficient and enjoyable work environment. Provide back-up to Shipping as needed. Conduct incoming receiving inspection QA as assigned. As a Warehouse Clerk, you have strong communications skills, excel at problem solving, and are driven by deadlines. You are a team player who is focused on finding solutions and taking initiative. You thrive on identifying and implementing process improvements and increase efficiencies. You are able to adapt and respond to fast changing priorities. Your experience includes: High school or equivalent combination of education and experience. Two years of receiving/warehouse experience in a light manufacturing environment. Experience with automated MRP system strongly preferred. Forklift experience required; certification preferred. APICS training preferred. Experience with national and international shipping preferred. Accuracy in recording data required: words and numbers High degree of organization skills Strong computer skills including general MS office and email, database experience preferred.
