Warehouse Clerk - 2nd Shift

As a Warehouse Clerk - Assembly, you will support warehouse and production operations by coordinating the receipt, storage, distribution, and shipment of products and materials. You will help organize daily warehouse priorities, maintain accurate inventory transactions, coordinate inbound and outbound shipments, and work across departments, customers, and vendors to support safe and timely operations. How You Will Make an Impact Provide day-to-day leadership to the department by assigning daily work, setting priorities, and helping coordinate Material Handler activities without direct supervisory responsibility. Schedule inbound loads of customer products, production materials, and supplies and coordinate outbound shipments to meet customer due dates and requirements. Verify counts, quantities, and descriptions of products and materials shipped and received, and ensure products and materials are handled safely and efficiently. Process shipping, receiving, production issue, transfer, and return transactions accurately and on time using the inventory control system and, when required, customer-specific warehouse management systems. Facilitate replenishment of products and materials to production lines and perform physical inventory activities, including periodic cycle counts. Interact with customers and vendors and serve as a liaison between the warehouse and other departments to support timely problem resolution and ongoing team coordination. Maintain a clean and safe warehouse environment, ensure compliance with safety policies and procedures, and perform Material Handler duties when needed. Assist the Warehouse Supervisor/Operations Manager as required, work required overtime, and perform other duties as assigned. What You Need to Succeed Required Qualifications High school diploma or GED. Two years of prior shipping and/or receiving experience. Two years of forklift experience. Proficient math skills, including the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals and to complete routine reports and correspondence as required. Ability to apply common-sense understanding to written or oral instructions and address routine problems in standardized situations. Ability to work required overtime and meet the physical demands and work environment requirements of the position, with reasonable accommodations as applicable. Preferred Qualifications Experience using inventory control systems or customer-specific warehouse management systems. Experience coordinating inbound and outbound shipments, inventory transactions, physical inventory, and cycle counts. Experience providing day-to-day work direction, setting priorities, or serving as a liaison across warehouse and production teams.
