Warehouse Cleaning Associate

About the Role: We are Encore Auctions , London’s largest online auction of returned items and undeliverable freight. Our teams work together to give customers a great experience, and a clean, organized space is an important part of that. We’re looking for a Warehouse Cleaning Associate to help keep our warehouse, offices, washrooms, entrances, and customer service area clean and welcoming. If you take pride in keeping spaces tidy, work efficiently, and are happy to lend a hand where needed, we’d like to hear from you. Responsibilities: Clean up after dogs in the dog-friendly office and be around dogs frequently. Clean and restock washrooms, and clean offices, shared spaces, and the customer service area. Sweep and mop floors, clean windows and glass, and wipe down surfaces and fixtures. Empty garbage and recycling bins, replace liners, and keep disposal areas tidy. Clean mattresses according to Encore’s procedures and prepare them for resale through the auction. Keep building entrances clean and presentable. Set out and serve coffee and donuts to staff on Fridays, and clean up afterward. Monitor assigned areas throughout the day and address spills, messes, and other cleaning needs promptly. Use cleaning products and equipment safely and report hazards, damage, or supply shortages to the Warehouse Manager. Assist with other cleaning and warehouse support duties as assigned. Candidate Requirements Candidate should be comfortable working around dogs and animals. No previous cleaning experience or formal training is required; training will be provided. A good understanding of everyday cleanliness and the ability to recognize when an area needs attention. Ability to communicate in English with coworkers and supervisors and understand cleaning and safety instructions. Reliable attendance, clear communication, and a willingness to help where needed. Ability to work at a steady pace, manage time well, and complete tasks efficiently without overlooking details. Ability to lift and move supplies, garbage, mattresses, and other items required for the role. Working Conditions This is an active role in a warehouse and office environment. It involves standing, walking, bending, reaching, lifting, and moving items throughout the shift. Safety footwear is required when working in the warehouse. What drives success at Encore?
