Warehouse Cleaning Associate Company: Local Boy Outfitters Job Type: Full-Time Position Summary Local Boy Outfitters is seeking a dependable and hardworking Warehouse Cleaning Associate to help maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment. This position is responsible for collecting and disposing of cardboard boxes, sweeping warehouse floors, and keeping work areas free of debris and clutter. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, pays attention to detail, and understands the importance of maintaining a clean and safe workplace. Key Responsibilities Collect cardboard boxes and debris throughout the warehouse and transport them to designated disposal or recycling areas. Break down cardboard boxes as needed to maintain organized work areas. Sweep warehouse floors, aisles, and designated work areas daily. Keep walkways, picking locations, and emergency exits clear of debris and obstructions. Monitor warehouse areas for trash, clutter, and potential safety hazards. Assist with maintaining overall warehouse cleanliness and organization. Follow all warehouse safety procedures and use cleaning equipment properly. Complete assigned cleaning tasks within the required time frame. Perform additional general warehouse cleanup duties as assigned by management. Qualifications Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently. Able to perform physical tasks, including standing, walking, bending, and lifting. Comfortable working in a warehouse environment. Strong attention to detail and a good work ethic. Ability to follow instructions and complete daily assignments. Previous warehouse or cleaning experience is a plus but not required. Expectations The Warehouse Cleaning Associate is expected to maintain a consistent cleaning routine throughout each shift. Cardboard and debris must be removed promptly, floors must remain clean, and warehouse aisles must stay clear and safe for employees and equipment. The goal of this position is to keep the warehouse clean, organized, and safe so the warehouse team can operate efficiently.
