Overview Join our dynamic team as a Warehouse Cleaner, working weekdays from 10am to 6pm! As a key part of our facilities team, you will ensure that all areas are spotless, sanitized, and well-maintained to support efficient operations and uphold safety standards. Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of warehouse floors, surfaces, and equipment using appropriate cleaning tools such as floor buffers and custodial supplies. Handle cleaning chemicals safely, following all chemical handling safety procedures and sanitation protocols. Operate cleaning equipment including floor buffers, vacuums, and other custodial tools to ensure optimal cleanliness. Conduct routine janitorial tasks such as trash removal, dusting, mopping, sweeping, and disinfecting high-touch areas. Assist with light maintenance tasks including minor repairs and ensuring facilities are in compliance with safety protocols. Follow safe lifting practices when moving heavy items or cleaning equipment to prevent injuries during manual handling. Maintain detailed records of cleaning activities and report any facility issues or hazards promptly. Requirements Proven experience in commercial or industrial cleaning, custodial work, or janitorial roles is preferred. Knowledge of proper chemical agent handling and safety procedures related to sanitation products. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and adhere to safe lifting practices during daily tasks. Familiarity with cleaning equipment such as floor buffers, vacuums, and other custodial tools. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety. Excellent time management skills to complete daily tasks efficiently within scheduled hours. Prior experience in facilities maintenance or industrial cleaning is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided.
