Warehouse / Christmas Lighting Service Technician The Christmas Guys – Clifton Park, NY $25/hour | Full-Time Seasonal | Monday–Friday Immediate Start – December/January The Christmas Guys is looking for a dependable, organized, hands-on person to join our team for the Christmas season. This is not a sit-at-a-desk warehouse position. Your day will typically start in our warehouse getting our installation crews ready for the day — organizing materials, receiving orders, preparing jobs, and processing materials returned by crews. Once the crews are out the door, you'll transition into our Christmas Lighting Service Technician , traveling to customer properties in a company vehicle and handling service calls and repairs. Most service calls will be completed independently. No Christmas lighting experience is required. We will train you. What matters more to us is that you're dependable, organized, comfortable working with your hands, willing to learn, and not afraid of ladders or heights. What You'll DoWarehouse Prepare materials and jobs for installation crews each morning Receive and organize incoming product and deliveries Maintain an organized warehouse and inventory Prepare materials needed for upcoming jobs Process and organize materials returned by crews Help make sure crews leave each morning with what they need Use Sortly, Monday.com, and CompanyCam to help track jobs, materials, and information Christmas Lighting Service Travel to customer properties in a company vehicle Diagnose and repair Christmas lighting issues Replace or repair lights, cords, connections, and other décor as needed Work from extension ladders at residential and commercial properties Complete most service calls independently Communicate professionally and politely with customers Document completed work We don't expect you to already know professional Christmas lighting. We'll teach you the Christmas-specific skills. What We're Looking For You should be: Dependable and able to show up on time every day Comfortable working independently Organized and able to keep track of materials Mechanically inclined and willing to learn Comfortable climbing and carrying extension ladders Comfortable working at heights Able to lift up to 80 lbs Comfortable working outdoors during the fall and winter Able to communicate professionally with customers Able to use basic phone apps and software In possession of a valid driver's license with the ability to safely operate a company vehicle Previous warehouse, construction, service, maintenance, or Christmas lighting experience is helpful, but not required . We're much more interested in finding the right person than the right résumé. Schedule Monday–Friday, approximately 7:30 AM–3:30 PM Some weekend or additional hours may occasionally be available when needed during our busiest parts of the Christmas season. This is a seasonal position beginning immediately and running through December/January. Pay $25 per hour This is a great seasonal opportunity for someone who wants to work hard, earn more than a typical seasonal wage during the Christmas season , and be part of a team doing something very different from the usual seasonal job.
