Location Address: 4201 S Highway 75, Sherman, Texas 75090 Work Shift: 8hr-1st Shift (United States of America) Shift: Tuesday - Saturday 7:00am - 3:30pm Altium Packaging is one of the largest plastic container companies and suppliers of rigid plastic packaging. We specialize in customized mid- and short-run packaging solutions and serve a diverse customer base in the pharmaceutical, dairy, household chemicals, food/nutraceuticals, industrial/specialty chemicals, water, and beverage/juice segments. We are currently seeking a reliable, experienced Warehouse Associate in Sherman, TX. As a Warehouse Associate, you will unload trucks, transfer and store finished product, assist with inventory, assemble boxes and cartons, along with other duties assigned by management. Ensure compliance with corporate and plant safety standards and with applicable laws and regulations issued by regulatory agencies. Unload trucks and store raw materials in designated areas. Drive forklift and load trucks with finished products in accordance with customer specifications. Transfer and store finished products to the warehouse. Repack damaged containers and keep storage area in proper order. Assist in inventory of raw material and finished goods. Fill customer requisitions and shipment orders. Assemble boxes and cartons and may hand-pack materials. May prepare materials for grinding process. May keep production lines supplied with raw materials. Reasonable mandatory overtime may be required due to business needs. Required: High school diploma or equivalent 2-3 years of warehouse, shipping & receiving experience CDL required FLO required (sit down) Experience with inventory Basic mathematical skills Basic computer experience Ability to work overtime. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud. Temperatures inside the plant can fluctuate between hot and cold according to seasonal changes.
