Warehouse Cargo Agent - Airport

Job Description: Tri-Star is a fast growing company with 4 different locations in Florida. We are seeking an experienced individual for our Orlando location. Duties include: customer service, documentation, warehouse cargo/mail handling, loading and unloading, building freight for the flight, inventory, organization and must be able to work independently and as part of a team. Must be willing to work shift hours that can include nights, evenings, weekends and holidays. The position starts at $18 with benefits. Requirements : Must be able to pass all pre-employment drug test and background check Must be a US Citizen or permanent resident Must possess a valid Driver’s License High school diploma or GED preferred Must be able to obtain valid airport I.D. badge. Must be able to lift at least 70 pounds Must have basic computer skills Must be at least 18 years of age Must possess the ability to read, write, fluently speak and understand the English and Spanish language - any other languages is a plus Must be available to work varied shifts, including nights, and occasionally on weekends, and holidays. Must have reliable transportation Must be able to work in the sun or rain for a short period of time is necessary Must be able to stand for more than an hour Must be able to multitask Must be able to work under pressure and finish tasks within a short period of time Job Responsibilities: Operate a forklift, tug and pallet jack Process customer paperwork and shipping information Provide reports on shipments status and damages Load/unload air cargo from/to vehicles/trucks Be able to learn new procedures and rules in a timely manner Prepare, palletize, and/or breakdown cargo as needed Make sure paperwork related to the cargo is accurate Assure proper handling and delivery of cargo Adhere to all FAA, TSA, USDA, Airport, Tri-Star Safety and Security procedures.
