Responsibilities Operate various warehouse equipment including reach trucks, forklifts, cherry pickers, pallet jacks, cranes, and order pickers to load, unload, stock, and move materials safely and efficiently Conduct inventory control activities such as stock counting, cycle counting, and updating inventory management software to maintain accurate stock levels Support order fulfillment by picking, packing, and preparing shipments according to customer specifications using warehouse management systems like AS400 Ensure proper handling of materials through manual handling techniques while following safety protocols and OSHA regulations Assist with shipping and receiving processes by verifying inbound and outbound shipments, inspecting goods for damage or discrepancies, and documenting transactions Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment by adhering to safety regulations and PPE use at all times Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize warehouse distribution workflows and improve overall operational efficiency Skills Proven experience operating heavy equipment such as reach trucks, forklifts, cherry pickers, cranes, or pallet jacks in a warehouse setting Strong knowledge of inventory management software (e.g., AS400) and warehouse management systems (WMS) Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting with proper technique while following safety guidelines Familiarity with logistics processes such as order picking & packing, shipping & receiving, load & unload operations Mechanical aptitude or basic mechanical knowledge beneficial for understanding material handling equipment operation Excellent attention to detail for inventory control and order accuracy Basic math skills for measurements, counting, and data entry tasks Commitment to safety protocol adherence including PPE use and OSHA standards Prior warehouse experience or warehouse supervisor experience preferred but not required; willingness to learn is essential Join us in creating a safe, efficient, and energized warehouse environment where your skills make a difference!
