Position Description: Responsible for shipping, handling, sorting, counting, and packaging of materials. Operates industrial powered lift equipment. Conducts or assists with physical inventory counts. Maintains work area and follows procedures to ensure compliance with safety regulations. Unload inbound freight from carrier Check for shipping damage Use bar code scanners to check inbound shipments and customer orders for customer shipment Complete required paperwork and forward to Inventory Control Assist other staff in resolving discrepancies discovered in receiving Prepare material for shipment consistent with customers, trucker’s or driver’s requirements and balance and mark pallets Wrap orders on pallet for the purposes of shipment Restock warehouse according to Inventory Manager’s guidelines and practices Qualifications: 1-2 years of warehouse experience preferred and experience operating a hi-lo, however we are willing to train the right person Must be able to lift 50 pounds High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) Valid driver’s license required Stand up Reach Forklift experience a plus Manual dexterity is required for operating machinery What’s in it for you: Multiple, affordable Insurance Plans (PPO & HSA) Dental Vision Optional Life Insurance, Short Term, and Long-Term Disability Insurance Optional Pet Insurance Employee and friend discount on Tile Products 401(k) Plan with 3% company match Generous PTO, Sick and Paid Holiday policies Positive & friendly work environment where employees are acknowledged and rewarded for their great work We are an equal employment opportunity employer.
