Warehouse Associate – Shipping, Receiving & Inventory

Gate Openers Unlimited, an established wholesale and retail distributor of automatic gate operators, garage door openers, access control equipment, and replacement parts, is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate – Shipping, Receiving & Inventory to join our team in Hialeah Gardens, Florida. We operate in a fast-paced, high-volume e-commerce fulfillment environment where accuracy, efficiency, and meeting daily shipping deadlines are essential. The ideal candidate is hardworking, organized, reliable, and comfortable working with computers and shipping software. This position involves picking, packing, shipping, receiving, and maintaining accurate inventory records. Most products consist of small parts and packages. Material-handling equipment is available for heavier merchandise. Key Responsibilities Shipping & Order Fulfillment Pick and pack customer orders quickly and accurately. Prepare daily shipments using UPS, FedEx, and USPS. Process shipping labels using ShipStation. Verify product numbers and quantities before shipping. Ensure orders are properly packaged and labeled. Meet daily shipping deadlines and carrier pickup schedules. Maintain productivity while handling a high volume of orders. Help maintain efficient daily shipping operations. Receiving & Inventory Receive incoming merchandise and verify quantities. Inspect incoming shipments for discrepancies or damage. Organize products in designated warehouse locations. Assist with inventory counts and stock accuracy. Help maintain accurate inventory records. Report inventory discrepancies to management. Ensure merchandise is properly stored and organized. Warehouse Operations Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse. Work efficiently with other warehouse employees to complete daily orders. Safely handle packages and warehouse materials. Use hand trucks and other material-handling equipment when appropriate. Assist with additional warehouse duties as needed. Follow established warehouse procedures. Maintain accuracy and safety while meeting daily productivity expectations. Required Qualifications Reliable, punctual, hardworking, and detail-oriented. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Comfortable handling a high volume of daily orders. Ability to meet daily shipping deadlines. Strong attention to detail when picking, packing, and verifying orders. Comfortable working with computers and shipping software. Able to follow instructions and work as part of a team. Able to safely handle packages and perform routine warehouse activities. Able to communicate effectively in English or Spanish. Able to accurately recognize product numbers, shipping addresses, and order instructions. Ability to maintain productivity without sacrificing accuracy or safety. Ability to stay focused, organized, and productive with minimal supervision during busy shipping periods. Preferred Qualifications At least one year of warehouse, shipping, or fulfillment experience. Experience with UPS, FedEx, or USPS shipping. Familiarity with inventory management software. E-commerce order fulfillment experience. Bilingual English/Spanish. Forklift experience is a plus but not required. Experience working in a busy warehouse or distribution environment. Training on our products, systems, and procedures will be provided.
