Warehouse Associate (Shipping & Receiving) – Contract – Immediate Start

Job Description We are a small wholesale company in Airdrie looking for a reliable, hands-on Warehouse Associate to handle day-to-day shipping, receiving, and warehouse operations. This is a small warehouse operation, and you will often be working independently, so we're looking for someone dependable, organized, and comfortable taking responsibility for their work without constant supervision. The position is approximately 30 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with some flexibility in the daily schedule. Responsibilities : - Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders - Receive and put away incoming inventory - Load and unload trucks and containers - Operate an order picker / forklift - Prepare courier and LTL shipments - Print shipping labels and paperwork - Perform basic inventory counts and quality checks - Maintain accurate warehouse locations - Keep the warehouse clean and organized - Use a computer, tablet, scanner, printer, and warehouse/shipping software - Handle basic day-to-day troubleshooting and problem solving Requirements: - Minimum 3 years of warehouse experience - Valid forklift or order picker certification - Experience operating warehouse equipment; order picker experience is a strong asset - Reliable and punctual - Comfortable working independently and often alone - Comfortable lifting up to 50 lb - Basic computer skills and comfortable learning new software/apps - Reliable transportation to our Airdrie warehouse - Good communication skills What We Offer: - $22–$24/hour, depending on experience and ability - Approximately 30 hours per week - Monday–Friday schedule - Immediate start - On-site parking - Small warehouse environment - Potential for longer-term employment depending on performance and business needs Job Type: Contract Contract length: 7 months Job Type: Contract Pay: $22.00-$24.00 per hour Benefits: On-site parking Application question(s): Have you read this post in full?
