Warehouse Associate - Shipping & Receiving

Job Title: Warehouse Associate Location: Surprise, Arizona Company: Interstate Assembly Systems Shift: Monday-Friday 7:30am-4:00pm We are looking for an independent and driven individual to join our team as a Warehouse Associate and Shipping & Receiving Clerk. We build IMT and Fuel/Lube Mechanic Trucks, and we would like to have you on our team! Essential Duties: Receive incoming materials and prepare outgoing shipments. Verify parts, quantities, and paperwork before materials are received or shipped. Inspect incoming shipments for obvious damage or discrepancies. Prepare and maintain accurate shipping and receiving documentation. Enter and retrieve information using shipping, inventory, and other computer systems. Use carrier software and other shipping programs as required. Operate a forklift to safely load, unload, and move materials. Organize incoming and outgoing materials so parts can be easily identified and located. Coordinate with production and other departments to keep materials moving. Identify and resolve discrepancies before shipments leave the facility. Communicate professionally with drivers, vendors, customers, and visitors. Prioritize multiple shipments, deliveries, and production requests throughout the day. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized Shipping/Receiving area. Follow established safety, quality, and shipping procedures. Experience/Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office. Experience working in a fast-paced environment. Experience with Lean Methodologies preferred. Previous Shipping/Receiving, inventory, warehouse, or related experience. Experienced with all material handling equipment such as forklifts & Reach lifts. Good written and verbal communication skills. Strong multi-tasking skills. Ability to lift 25-50lbs routinely. Occasionally lift over 50lbs.
