Warehouse Associate (Shipping & Receiving)

SK tes is seeking a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Associate to support daily shipping and receiving operations at our Fredericksburg facility. This position involves loading and unloading trucks, operating forklifts, moving materials throughout the warehouse, verifying shipments, and maintaining accurate records in our ERP system. We are looking for someone who is dependable, productive, organized, and able to complete assigned tasks accurately and efficiently with minimal supervision. Key Responsibilities Safely operate stand up and sit down forklifts to load, unload, transport, and organize materials. Receive and verify incoming shipments for accuracy, quantity, and condition. Prepare and verify outgoing shipments to ensure materials are properly identified and ready for transportation. Accurately enter shipping, receiving, and material movement transactions into the company's ERP system. Coordinate with other departments to ensure materials are moved to the correct locations. Identify and report shipment discrepancies, material shortages, and damaged freight. Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure materials are stored in designated locations. Properly stage, organize, and secure materials for storage or shipment. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment. Follow established safety procedures, operating guidelines, and daily work instructions. Complete assigned daily responsibilities accurately, efficiently, and within expected timeframes. Required Qualifications Minimum of 2 years of experience operating both stand up and sit down forklifts. Previous experience in warehouse operations, shipping, or receiving. Basic computer skills and the ability to accurately enter information into electronic systems. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and remain productive with minimal supervision. Reliable attendance and punctuality. Effective communication skills and ability to work with multiple departments. Ability to safely perform the physical responsibilities associated with warehouse operations. Preferred Qualifications Experience working with ERP or warehouse inventory management systems. Experience verifying freight, shipment documentation, and inventory records. Previous experience in a high volume warehouse, distribution, or logistics environment. Familiarity with inventory control and material tracking procedures.
