We're looking to add a SEASONAL (40 hours per week November through the end of March) warehouse associate to our incredible team! JOB TITLE: WAREHOUSE/SHIPPING ASSOCIATE – SEASONAL PAY RATE: $21.00 / HOUR HOURS: M-F 8am-4:30pm (30 min lunch) JOB DESCRIPTION: A warehouse associate is responsible for performing an array of duties such as receiving and processing incoming stock and materials, picking and fulfilling orders, unloading inbound containers, keeping the warehouse in a neat and orderly fashion, etc. This a seasonal 40 hour/week position (early-Nov through end of March). QUALIFICATIONS With deep roots in sporting goods, AMPAC is a teamwork-based company. A successful candidate will require a positive attitude, the ability to work well with other employees, a sense of urgency, flexibility to perform duties as needed, attention to detail, and willingness to learn. Valid Driver’s License Great physical stamina with the ability to safely lift, push, pull and carry boxes sometimes exceeding 50 lbs., as well as ability to spend majority of time walking on hard floors and standing for long periods of time Reliable team player with positive attitude and good attendance Ability to understand and apply work methods that drive accuracy and speed Ability to work occasional extra hours, if needed General computer knowledge – learning AMPAC’s ERP & shipping software / etc to process outgoing shipments and process inventory movements within our WMS. Experience with mobile barcode scanners required. Unloading, sorting, and staging incoming product Make accurate mathematical calculations Ability to pack and ship orders accurately following set processes Ability to work occasional overtime (if available) Keep a clean and safe working, organized environment and optimize space utilization Operate equipment including but not limited to: Stand-Up Forklift, Order Picker Forklift, Pallet Wrapper, Dolly/Hand Truck. Forklift Experience preferred. Assist with returns and inventory counts Work effectively as a team member – communicate and cooperate with supervisors and co-workers Must successfully pass a background check Job Type: Temporary Pay: $21.00 per hour Application Question(s): Are you able to successfully pass a background check?
