ipments, sorting merchandise, picking and packing orders, organizing inventory, and preparing products for distribution.
This position requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Receive, unload, sort, and organize incoming merchandise and shipments.
• Pick, pack, label, and prepare customer or store orders for shipping.
• Stock shelves, racks, and designated storage areas.
• Assist with inventory organization, counting, and stock replenishment.
• Load and unload boxes, cartons, and other warehouse materials.
• Inspect merchandise for damage, defects, or discrepancies.
• Prepare products for retail distribution, including tagging, labeling, and repackaging.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of warehouse work areas.
• Follow established warehouse procedures and workplace safety guidelines.
• Assist with other general warehouse duties as assigned by supervisors.
Qualifications & Requirements
• Previous experience in retail warehousing, distribution, order picking, packing, or general labour is an asset.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and move merchandise safely.
• Comfortable standing, walking, bending, and performing repetitive tasks for extended periods.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment.
• Basic reading, counting, and organizational skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
• Must be legally authorized to work in Canada.
• Flexibility to accept shifts based on operational requirements.
Health & Safety Requirements
• CSA-approved safety footwear may be required.
• WHMIS certification is required.
• Ontario Worker Health and Safety Awareness (WHSA) training is required.
• Must follow all workplace health and safety policies and procedures.
• Additional personal protective equipment (PPE) may be required depending on the assigned duties.
Work Environment
• Retail warehouse and distribution centre setting.
• Physically active work involving prolonged standing, walking, lifting, and repetitive movements.
• Fast-paced environment with daily productivity and accuracy expectations.
• Shifts may vary depending on warehouse operations and client requirements.
