As an Ambassador for Airgas , the Service & Delivery Professional takes pride in the safe and reliable delivery of compressed gas cylinders to our local and regional business partners. Operating from an Airgas branch or plant location using a company-provided straight or box truck, you will manage the flow of cylinders while building lasting relationships with the customers you visit. Essential Duties And Responsibilities Loading and Delivery: Safely load, deliver, and unload gas cylinders and other products onto route trucks and at customer locations. Cylinder Handling and Preparation: Manage high-pressure, medical, and liquid cylinders, including preparing cryogenic vessels for filling. Operate a forklift, pallet jack, and other warehouse equipment. Inventory and Inspection: Monitor cylinder quantities and styles and assist with inventory management. Physically receive, check, and store delivered materials in the warehouse. Safety and Compliance: Adhere to all government and company standards regarding the safe handling of hazardous materials and cylinder gases. Vehicle Maintenance: Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, documenting any deficiencies to ensure all safety equipment is in good working order. Customer Relations: Maintain positive customer relationships and resolve service inquiries or complaints effectively. Facility Upkeep: Ensure the remains warehouse is neat, clean, and orderly. Hazmat & Airbrake Certifications are required!!
