Warehouse Associate (Receiver)

Title: Warehouse Associate (Receiver) Duration: 3 Months Location: Memphis TN Shift: 1st Shift Job Summary & Responsibilities The Warehouse Associate performs various warehouse activities to ensure the full and efficient operation of the Distribution Center, including receiving, sorting, stacking, picking, packing, and shipping of orders. The candidate will be required to be licensed on PIT equipment. Use forklifts to unload, load, break down freight, receive, and stock materials. Use an RF scanner to pick orders and a computer to audit orders. Verify products for the correct item, lot number, and quantity, and ensure damages are identified. Operate specialized warehouse equipment as necessary and ensure daily routine inspections are conducted. Report any unsafe conditions. Adhere to all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Perform housekeeping in assigned areas and follow all safety rules. Perform other work-related duties as assigned. Required Skills & Qualifications Basic computer and math skills. Previous distribution experience is required. Previous experience in a cold-chain environment is a plus. High school diploma or equivalent required. Ability to maintain regular attendance. Willingness to work overtime with little or same-day notice. Ability to stand and walk for long periods. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. PIT/forklift license or ability to obtain the required license. Close Visual Acuity: Ability to perform visual inspection for small defects or parts and extensive reading or analyzing of data. Intermediate Visual Acuity: Ability to operate machines, use computer terminals, and work at or within arm's reach. The position may involve: Extreme cold temperatures below -24°F. Biological hazards, including blood or blood products. Working around moving machinery. Confined spaces. Shift rotations based on business needs. Required Protective Equipment: Gloves, safety shoes, cold-weather gear, body harness, and safety vest. Physical Demands Medium to heavy lifting and carrying of items. Sitting, walking, and standing for extended periods. Kneeling, pushing, and pulling. Bending at the waist and neck, both forward and sideways. Repetitive movement of hands and power grasping. Balancing and maintaining equilibrium to prevent falling. Pay: $19.00 per hour Work Location: In person
