Warehouse & Assembly Associate / Reach Truck Operator Company: DUVON Lighting Location: Buffalo Grove, IL Pay: $19.00–$22.00 per hour, based on experience Job Type: Full-time, In-person Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM About DUVON Lighting DUVON Lighting is a growing commercial lighting company specializing in LED sports lighting, court and field lighting, and commercial and solar lighting solutions. We are looking for an experienced, dependable Warehouse & Assembly Associate who is skilled in operating a stand-up single-reach forklift/reach truck. Reach truck experience is required for this position. Candidates must be able to operate a stand-up single-reach truck safely, confidently, and efficiently in a warehouse environment. This is a hands-on position involving forklift operation, receiving, inventory movement, product assembly, packaging, and shipping. Responsibilities Safely and efficiently operate a stand-up single-reach forklift/reach truck Put away and retrieve palletized inventory from warehouse racking Safely maneuver the reach truck in warehouse aisles and around employees, products, and equipment Load, unload, stage, and move materials and finished products Perform basic pre-use equipment and safety inspections Receive incoming shipments and verify quantities and condition Pick, organize, pack, label, and prepare customer orders Assemble commercial LED lighting fixtures and related components Use basic hand tools for product assembly Inspect assembled products for quality and accuracy Palletize, wrap, and secure finished products for shipment Maintain accurate and organized inventory locations Assist with cycle counts and physical inventory Report damaged, missing, or incorrect materials Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse Support production, shipping, receiving, and other warehouse operations as needed Required Qualifications Proven experience operating a stand-up single-reach forklift/reach truck Must be able to operate the reach truck safely, confidently, and efficiently Warehouse, manufacturing, shipping/receiving, or assembly experience Ability to safely place and retrieve palletized loads from warehouse racking Ability to use basic hand tools Ability to read labels, packing lists, quantities, and basic work instructions Strong attention to detail and accurate counting skills Dependable attendance and punctuality Ability to work independently after receiving instructions Ability to regularly lift and move up to 50 lbs. Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, push, and pull throughout the workday Basic English communication skills Reliable transportation to Buffalo Grove, IL Available Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM What We Are Looking For We are not looking for someone who has only occasionally used a forklift. We need someone who is already comfortable operating a stand-up single-reach truck and understands safe material handling in a warehouse environment. The right person is dependable, productive, organized, and willing to help wherever needed. You should be comfortable moving between forklift operation, receiving, shipping, inventory, assembly, and general warehouse work during the same day. This position is a good fit for someone who takes pride in doing physical, hands-on work correctly and wants a stable, full-time position with a growing company. Compensation & Benefits $19.00–$21.00 per hour , based on relevant experience and demonstrated skills.
