Warehouse Associate – Pipe Cutting / Band Saw Operator Company: PinAcle Stainless Steel Inc. Location: Mississauga, ON Job type: Full-time Work location: On-site About the Role PinAcle Stainless Steel Inc. is seeking a dependable, safety-conscious Warehouse Associate to support our pipe-cutting and material-handling operations. You will use a band saw to cut pipe to customer specifications, accurately measure and verify cut lengths, and safely move, organize and prepare pipe for customer orders. This position is suited to someone who enjoys hands-on work, pays close attention to detail and works well in a warehouse team. Previous saw operation and forklift experience are preferred. Key Responsibilities Read work orders and cut lists to confirm the correct pipe, quantities and required lengths. Accurately measure and mark pipe using a tape measure, including fractions of an inch. Set up and operate a band saw to cut pipe according to order specifications and established safety procedures. Check finished cuts for accuracy and quality before releasing material for shipment. Safely move, position and handle pipe using appropriate material-handling equipment and team assistance. Pick, identify, label, bundle and prepare pipe for customer orders. Return remaining pipe to the correct storage locations and maintain material identification. Perform routine equipment checks and report damaged blades, equipment issues or unsafe conditions. Keep the cutting area, equipment and surrounding warehouse clean and organized. Assist with shipping, receiving, inventory counts and other warehouse duties as needed. Follow all safety procedures, equipment requirements and personal protective equipment rules. Qualifications Ability to accurately read a tape measure and work with measurements and fractions. Strong attention to detail when checking product specifications, quantities and cut lengths. Ability to follow written work orders and verbal instructions. Previous experience operating a band saw or other industrial cutting equipment is preferred. Previous forklift experience is preferred. Experience handling pipe, steel or other long materials is an asset. Dependable attendance, good teamwork and a commitment to safe work practices. Willingness to learn equipment operation and warehouse procedures. Working Conditions Active warehouse work involving standing, walking, bending and handling materials throughout the shift. Moving long and heavy pipe using appropriate lifting equipment, safe handling methods and assistance. Required use of safety footwear and other designated personal protective equipment.
