J ob Title: Warehouse Associate (Night Shift) Location: Houston, TX Pay Rate: $19.00 - $20.00 Per Hour Position Summary: The Night Shift Warehouse Associate plays a vital role in after-hours warehouse operations by receiving, sorting, and staging incoming freight. This position ensures that shipments are accurately processed, inventoried, and prepared for delivery. The associate supports a seamless transition between day and night shifts, working closely with the Warehouse Supervisor to complete any carry-over tasks such as receiving stock, picking and packing orders, and loading outbound shipments. Inventory is managed through a Warehouse Management System (WMS), and associates are expected to accurately complete all related transactions. This role requires attention to detail, the ability to work independently, and a strong commitment to maintaining a clean, safe, and organized environment. Key Responsibilities: Receive, inspect, and store incoming shipments accurately and safely. Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment in line with company procedures and quality standards. Maintain inventory accuracy by recording stock movements and transactions within the WMS. Hand unload containers or shipments as needed, including repetitive lifting and manual handling. Operate warehouse equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks) safely and according to policy. Perform routine inventory counts and cycle checks. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times. Follow all company safety protocols and standard operating procedures. Assist with truck loading/unloading as needed. Collaborate with supervisors and team members to meet operational goals and deadlines. Accurately complete all WMS-related tasks, including receiving, picking, packing, and shipping. Qualifications: Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work on your feet for extended periods, required. Basic understanding of warehouse procedures and inventory control, required. Ability to operate or willingness to learn warehouse equipment, required. Forklift certification a plus. Flexibility to work possible overtime, required. High school diploma or equivalent, preferred.
