Warehouse Associate – Natural Stone Tiles & Slabs

Job Summary We are seeking an experienced and dependable Warehouse Associate with prior experience handling natural stone slabs and tiles to join our Anaheim warehouse team.The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience working in a natural stone, tile, or slab distribution warehouse and be familiar with the proper handling, storage, packaging, and movement of fragile and heavy stone materials. Key Responsibilities Pick, pack, and prepare orders for natural stone tiles, mosaics, and slabs. Safely load and unload trucks and shipping containers. Handle and move marble, limestone, travertine, and other natural stone products. Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and appropriate slab-handling equipment. Assist with slab inventory, storage, and material organization. Inspect incoming and outgoing materials for damage, quality, and accuracy. Verify quantities, product codes, and order details against packing lists. Prepare pallets, crates, and shipments for customer pickups and deliveries. Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with cycle counts. Keep warehouse areas clean, organized, and safe. Coordinate with customer service and warehouse management to ensure timely order fulfillment. Requirements Previous warehouse experience with natural stone slabs and tiles is required. Knowledge of proper stone handling, storage, and transportation procedures. Experience operating forklifts and pallet jacks. Familiarity with slab racks, A-frames, and stone-handling equipment. Ability to identify different stone materials and recognize visible damage. Ability to read packing slips, pick tickets, and shipping documents. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs independently and heavier materials with appropriate assistance or equipment. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Reliable attendance, punctuality, and ability to work as part of a team. Basic English communication skills required; bilingual English/Spanish is a plus. Preferred Qualifications Experience working for a natural stone distributor, slab yard, tile importer, or stone fabrication company. Forklift certification. Experience with inventory management systems or SAP. Experience loading and securing stone slabs for transportation. Compensation & Benefits Competitive hourly pay based on experience.
