Warehouse Associate - Monterey Park

About the Role Star Gifts is hiring Warehouse Associates to help keep our inventory moving. You’ll receive, organize, and ship boxed plush toys and PVC packaging supplies, working with a small, friendly team. What You’ll Do Unload shipping containers and check contents against packing lists Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipping Stack, shelve, and organize inventory Label boxes and keep accurate inventory records Operate a hand truck, pallet jack, and forklift (training provided) Keep the warehouse clean and safe Lift and move boxes weighing around 25-50 lbs throughout your shift What We’re Looking For Able to communicate in both English and Spanish for daily work, since our team uses both languages Able to lift up to 50 lbs and be on your feet most of the day (most of our boxed toys weigh around 25-30 lbs) Attention to detail when picking and counting Dependable, punctual, and a good team player Warehouse, shipping & receiving, or picker/packer experience is a plus, but we will train the right person Pay & Benefits $18 - $21 per hour, based on experience Container unloading bonus: minimum $40 per container, with higher amounts depending on container size, cargo type, and unloading time Paid every two weeks Medical insurance (eligible after 60 days of employment) Dental insurance (eligible after one year of employment) 5 days of paid time off per year Overtime paid according to California law Schedule Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM During our busy season (normally December to May), extra hours and occasional Saturday shifts may be available.
