Warehouse Associate - Machine Operator

Job Overview As a Warehouse Associate - Machine Operator, you’ll keep products moving safely and accurately through warehouse operations. You’ll operate material handling equipment, support inventory control, and help prepare orders for shipment. Your work will connect warehouse distribution, logistics, and customer order fulfillment. Duties Operate heavy machinery to produce plastic landscaping materials Operate forklifts, order pickers, cherry pickers, pallet jacks, and other equipment as authorized; use heavy equipment when qualified. Pick, pack, package, stock, and stage orders; load and unload materials while following safe manual handling practices. Support shipping and receiving, inventory management, and inventory control using warehouse management systems. Inspect equipment, wear required personal protective equipment (PPE), and follow safety protocols and applicable Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) regulations. Your impact: Accurate picking, packing, and inventory updates help coworkers ship complete orders and customers receive the right products. Skills Essential: Warehouse experience, materials handling, basic math, safe heavy lifting, and the ability to follow safety regulations and protocols. Essential: Experience with warehouse operations, order fulfillment, shipping and receiving, and material handling equipment operation. Preferred: Familiarity with inventory management software, a warehouse management system, or AS400. Preferred: Experience operating a forklift, reach truck, crane, cherry picker, order picker, or pallet jack; heavy equipment operation experience is an asset. Preferred: Warehouse supervisor experience, plus knowledge of warehouse distribution, inventory management, stocking, and logistics. Requirements Be able to stand for several hours at a time Lift boxes of up to 50 lbs Work may require exposure to fluctuating temperatures and varying weather conditions, including hot and cold environments, as warehouse conditions may not be climate-controlled. Pay: $17.50 - $31.01 per hour Expected hours: 37.0 – 40.0 per week Work Location: In person
