Warehouse Associate/Inventory

Job Overview: We are looking for a detail-oriented Warehouse Associate/Inventory specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for receiving, storing, and tracking lumber, plywood, and other wood products. You will maintain accurate inventory records, organize the yard and warehouse, and ensure orders are picked and prepared correctly for our customers. Responsibilities: Inventory Management: Receive incoming shipments of lumber and wood products and verify quantities against packing slips and purchase orders. Inspect materials for damage, moisture, or defects and report discrepancies. Track inventory levels and update records in the inventory management system. Warehouse & Yard Operations: Store lumber and wood products in designated areas to protect them from weather and damage. Pick and stage orders based on customer requests and work orders. Keep the warehouse and yard clean, organized, and safe. Order Fulfillment: Verify order accuracy before shipment or customer pickup. Prepare orders for delivery and coordinate with drivers. Maintain accurate records of all inventory movements. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in inventory control. Basic math skills for counting and measuring materials. Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
