WAREHOUSE ASSOCIATE II 2nd shift 1pm to 9:30pm

POSITION SUMMARY: Maintains a safe working environment while supporting the operation through effective warehousing and distribution activities. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: Safety: Understands and complies with safe work practices and procedures so as to create and maintain a safe working environment. Quality: Understands and complies with all Joseph’s and USDA quality procedures and regulations to ensure we provide safe and top-quality product to consumers. Performs shipping and receiving duties Performs order selection activities. Operates Crown forklifts and pallet jacks in order to transport goods. Performs inventory control activities including cycle counts and consistent inventory checks. Maintains high housekeeping standards. Performs daily quality checks on equipment to ensure they are in good working order. Performs all other duties as assigned. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: Ability to work overtime and weekends as necessary Basic math skills (adding, subtracting, etc.) Effective communication skills Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Self-motivation and ability to work with people Ability to lift up to 50 pounds Ability to work in extreme hot, cold, and wet environments SKILLS/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Minimum of 6 months warehouse/distribution experience Experience operating forklifts and pallet jacks SKILLS/EXPERIENCE PREFERRED: Knowledge of Lockout/Tag out preferred Able to operate Crown forklift preferred Able to operate Crown pallet jack preferred Basic warehouse management system experience Experience working with an AS400 based RF inventory system or other WMS systems
