Warehouse Associate I-Weekends

Overview As a Warehouse Associate I, you’ll keep warehouse operations moving by receiving, storing, picking, packing, and preparing materials for shipment. You’ll use warehouse equipment and inventory systems while following safety regulations and established procedures. Your impact: Accurate inventory control and order fulfillment help customers and coworkers receive the right materials when they need them. Responsibilities Load and unload shipments; inspect, stock, and organize materials. Pick and pack orders, prepare packaging, and support shipping and receiving. Operate material handling equipment, such as forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, order pickers, cherry pickers, and cranes, when trained and authorized. Update inventory using a warehouse management system (WMS), inventory management software, or AS400. Follow safety protocols, use personal protective equipment (PPE), and perform manual handling and heavy lifting safely. Experience Warehouse experience in distribution, logistics, inventory management, or materials handling is helpful. Basic math skills and technical proficiency for accurate counts, order checks, and system updates. Familiarity with warehouse management systems, inventory control, stocking, picking and packing, and order fulfillment is preferred. Experience operating heavy equipment or material handling equipment is an asset; follow Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) requirements and site procedures. Warehouse supervisor experience is not required; knowledge of warehouse operations and safety protocol adherence is valued.
