You will be responsible for handling inventory, operating heavy equipment including forklifts and reach trucks, and supporting shipping, receiving, and order fulfillment processes. Responsibilities Safely operate various types of heavy equipment such as forklifts, reach trucks, cherry pickers, cranes, pallet jacks, and order pickers to load, unload, move, and organize materials. Conduct manual handling tasks including heavy lifting and stocking to ensure inventory is accurately stored and accessible. Manage inventory control using warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory management software to track stock levels, perform cycle counts, and update records in compliance with safety regulations like OSHA standards. Assist with order picking and packing activities to fulfill customer orders efficiently while adhering to quality standards. Support shipping & receiving operations by verifying inbound/outbound shipments, preparing items for shipment, and ensuring proper documentation using systems like AS400. Maintain a clean, safe workspace by following safety protocols, including PPE use, OSHA guidelines, and warehouse safety regulations. Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize warehouse distribution processes and improve overall warehouse management. Qualifications Proven experience operating warehouse material handling equipment such as forklifts, reach trucks, cherry pickers, pallet jacks, or cranes. Strong understanding of warehouse operations including shipping & receiving, inventory management, order fulfillment, and stock control. Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely with heavy lifting requirements. Basic math skills for inventory counting and data entry tasks. Knowledge of safety regulations such as OSHA standards and PPE protocols to ensure a safe working environment. Prior experience in warehouse supervision or logistics is a plus but not required; willingness to learn is essential.
