Warehouse Associate / Forklift Operator

About us PrimePort Warehouse & Logistics Center is a family-owned third-party logistics (3PL) and container freight station operating a 75,000 sq ft facility in Irvington, NJ, 10 minutes from Port Newark-Elizabeth. We handle container devanning, warehousing, order fulfillment, and distribution for e-commerce brands, importers, and distributors. We’re growing and need two experienced, dependable warehouse associates to join our floor team right away. What you’ll do Operate forklifts (reach truck, order picker, sit-down) safely in a busy warehouse Unload trucks and shipping containers; receive and put away inbound freight Scan, count, and stack inventory accurately using handheld scanners and our WMS Pick, pack, and prepare outbound orders for shipment Assist with cycle counts and keep inventory records accurate Complete daily equipment inspections and report issues Keep your work area clean, organized, and OSHA-compliant Communicate with drivers, coworkers, and supervisors to keep the dock moving What we’re looking for Minimum 2 years of warehouse experience (3PL, fulfillment, or distribution center preferred) Forklift experience required; current certification a plus (we can recertify) Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred — many of our drivers and crew speak Spanish Detail-oriented and organized — you take pride in accurate counts and clean stacking Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand, walk, bend, and climb for a full shift Comfortable reading order sheets, labels, and written instructions Authorized to work in the United States Nice to have Experience with a warehouse management system (WMS) or handheld RF scanners Container devanning / floor-loaded unloading experience Why PrimePort Steady, year-round work at a growing company — not seasonal Small team where your work is noticed and good performers move up Weekday day shift — evenings and weekends are yours 10 minutes from Newark, Elizabeth, and the Garden State Parkway; on NJ Transit bus lines Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour Benefits: Paid time off Work Location: In person
