Warehouse Associate/Forklift Operator
ConfidentialWarehouse Associate / Forklift Operator KL Rubber is seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Warehouse Associate who takes pride in accuracy and organization. This role is responsible for preparing orders correctly and on time, receiving and organizing products, completing related paperwork accurately, and providing prompt, courteous service to customers picking up their orders. Our warehouse is small, has limited space, and is densely stocked. The successful candidate must be comfortable working in tight spaces, keeping products properly separated and organized, and managing daily tasks independently. Please note: We do not use a barcode scanner. Products and orders must be checked manually against packing slips and other order documents. Responsibilities Pick and prepare products according to packing slips and order documents. Carefully verify product descriptions, item numbers or other identifying details, and quantities before completing each order. Complete assigned orders by the end of the workday or before the scheduled pickup or delivery deadline. Immediately report any issue that may delay an order, such as missing products or incomplete information. Receive incoming products and check their type, quantity, and condition against the accompanying documents. Report shortages, overages, damage, or other discrepancies. Store products in their designated locations. Keep different products clearly separated and the warehouse organized. Do not mix or misplace items. Read, complete, and check documents related to receiving and releasing products. Record actual quantities accurately and obtain customer signatures when required. Provide prompt, courteous service to customers picking up orders. Prepare orders in advance when pickup times are known, respond promptly when customers arrive, and verify that each order is correct and complete before handoff. Operate a forklift safely to move and store products, including in narrow aisles and a tightly stocked warehouse. Use a pallet truck safely and confidently to move products within the warehouse. Keep the warehouse and aisles clean, orderly, and safe. Work independently, maintain a steady pace, and complete assigned tasks without repeated reminders. Perform other warehouse-related duties as assigned. Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Strong attention to detail and a careful, consistent approach to checking products, quantities, and documents. Ability to read and accurately follow packing slips, order documents, and related paperwork. Ability to record product quantities and check documents for completeness and accuracy. Strong organizational skills and the ability to keep products properly separated and in their assigned locations. Reliable, punctual, and accountable, with the ability to complete work by established deadlines. Able to work independently and maintain consistent progress throughout the workday. Previous hands-on forklift operating experience and proof of completed forklift operator training are required before applying. Applicants must be able to provide documentation of their training. Forklift training will not be provided as part of this position. The successful candidate must also demonstrate safe operation of the forklift used at our workplace before operating it independently. Demonstrated ability to use a pallet truck safely and effectively. Able to operate a forklift safely in tight spaces. Able to communicate in English for workplace instructions and customer service.
